I hate waiting for things, so chose RGB purely on their price and delivery times. Spoke to a lady called Nina and from the first conversation to the last shes been nothing but helpful and nice. Id say this company went above and beyond for a customer that has no previous track record with themselves. Needed to contact the customer service department for a querie, emailed, and received a call the next morning. Very professional and now one of the websites I check first when browsing for other items :) |

had mine for a fortnight...and im VERY pleased with it.theres enough bass to bounce your armchair around the room
and its nice and crisp and solid....
mid and high tones are very good also
my tv is not ARC ready so mines an optical connection...gaming is superb with this everything is in sync all in all im a very happy bunny and have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone who doesnt want to spend silly money on improving your tvs sound
though i bought this on another site which was slightly cheaper than here |

I recently purchased a Samsung UE46D8000 TV, complete with BDD5500 3D Bluray player. The transaction was easy and smooth, delivery within 3 days of placing the order..... I would definitely use RGB Direct again.

First time I have bought from RGB but wont be the last.
Have a minor hearing problem but the service over the phone was both efficient and patient.

I visited RGB in Ilford yesterday,having spent all day being dragged round electronic stores, looking for a TV. I hate shopping for anything electronic: I am not knowledgeable and rely on the shops staff. At RGB I found a great showroom and fantastic staff: Mark Phillips was really helpful, but not pushy. He told me the facts, explained them and helped me make a choice. My choice,a Sony, was one I had never considered, but am delighted with it.

I have just purchased Sonys top-of-the-range 55" HX923 model from the Ilford store and I couldnt be happier with with the service I was given. In fact I must say that its been the best customer service Ive had in any store! Sales advisor Edward Lawrence was very helpful, patient and offered A++ advice when I was choosing my new television. After making my purchase I met the store manager and the director of the store to give my feedback and were both very friendly people. ordered a 60" lg mid week and all went smoothly,on the day rgb phoned up to inform me that the delivery company had dropped the tv and damaged it, but they had another one ready to ship to their credit and i got it the next day, excellent customer service and hats off to the delivery company, will definately be ordering from rgb again. |

This system may be seen by some as an entry level into the Audio/Home Cinema market but it’s far from it.
The clarity of the sound produced in all of its many sound modes is superb on BD and through music inputs. The unit, its speakers and woofer have a good solid feel to them and very professional finish. The AV receiver has a large array of inputs and has plenty of speaker cable provided which make this a system pretty much ready to go straight away. The only gripe being is that the remote control does seem a bit over crowded with buttons and secondary function icons, otherwise this is a brilliant system for the price

My first Blu-Ray player - very impressed, plays anything you throw at it via USB including MKV with exception of ISOs. Plays all popular subtitle formats. Connected to net and performed firmware update no probs. Great controls and superb picture. I also have LG TV so remote can work basic TV functions - excellent for the price!! |

I have just recently got one of these TVs after seeing it at the Gadget Show Live Show last week. The picture quality of this product is very good with the LED technology to make the colours and picture very crisp.
This is the Cinema 3D version and is LGs latest 2011 range. With the 3D it gives you full 1080p HD quality of pictures where as some 3D TVs used to be only able to give you half that.
When testing the 3D on this tv it is just as LG states on their website and is just like the 3D that you see at the cinema but with one better side to it, it will not cost you alot to have all your friends and family around to see a 3D film or just you the 2D conversion to watch 2D pictures in 3D.
The Tv comes with 7 pairs of passive 3D glasses in the box and if that is not enough for you, JUST USE THE ONES YOU GET FROM THE CINEMA. Also if you need to buy anymore they will only cost around £2 a apair unlike the active ones.
The viewing angle of this tv is also very good, the only place I found that you can not watch 3D on this tv is if you look at it from about 1 or 2 foot from above, any where else you can see the screen perfectly.
With the standard tv picture this tv brings the picture upto near HD quality due to the LED tech inside.
I HAVE HESITATED IN BUYING A 3D TV DUE TO PRICE AND QUALITY, BUT WHEN I SAW THIS ONE AND TESTED IT I HAD TO HAVE IT.
overall this is a brilliant all round TV, if you have thought hard about getting a tv and decided not to due to the tech of 3D and expense STOP this beats it all for value for money, also if you are a SKY customer you could get upto £400 off.

Hooked my PS3 up and watched a couple of blu-rays. There are options to adjust the picture, but to be honest, the standard modes are good enough for me. 1080p looks as good as it should. Perfect!
Played Wipeout-HD which runs at 1080p and 60fps. Perfectly smooth. No image tearing, or picture defects or artifacting.
Multimedia

Now, this is a big one for me. This TV supports DivX, Xvid and MKV.
I watched a 1080p mkv video and it played perfectly from my USB HDD. Additionally, the TV also reads Subtitle files. Which really blew me away. Ive not tried MP3 playback or Picture viewing yet, though Im sure its fine.

The set arrived very quickly (3 days), and I only request basic free delivery. The delivery chap was friendly and RGB also wrapped it in brown paper to make it easy to identify any damage to the packaging caused in transit. Nice touch RGB!
Overall, I couldnt be happier with the set. Will shop with RGB again. Cheapest deal too at £262.
Final Thoughts

For a bedroom TV, its the business. In fact, for any room its a great set. Looks good, easy to use, a doddle to setup. Good connectivity, great picture and my PS3 really makes it shine.
FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON CLEANING! You get a cleaning cloth for the set, but dont use any chemical polish or any other cleaning agents otherwise YOU WILL BUGGER UP YOUR TV. |

First of all what an amazing piece of television technology it is all I wished for in picture quality,its abit too big for the room though,thats my fault,sounds great too, Its not all 10/10 though,In game mode playing the xbox360. Driving games produce unusual banding effects on the bottom four inches of the screen and Halo 3 is not really playable due to a tiny lag in gameplay which puts your shot wide,adventure games such as oblivion are fine and seem to be unaffected.I hooked the tv up to the router right away and now I have internet tv which is alright but I cant see me using it very much You have to text/type all the actions, so much slower than using the pc.It is something the kids will use though so Im glad I have it...for £1079 its as good as it gets, and I couldnt find this cheaper anywhere,I rate this tv as excellent even with the xbox issues ..hoping future software updates will fix the lag in gaming |

Super FAST!
I ordered a Beko tumble dryer (listed on Argos for £261 + delivery) And found the exact same model on RGB Direct for £189!
We decided on the 10 day delivery (Argos was 7), which was £25 and the taking away of our old dryer, so even with this, we were still about £40 better off than Argos. So this order was placed on a Sunday, Monday afternoon i had a call from them saying if i could upgrade the delivery for next day delivery for £15 (that service is £64) However i declined, he went away, came back and said don't worry we will do it free tomorrow!
So i received my order exactly 48 hours after it being placed.

The assistant that picked up the call (Nina) was excellent. She was knowledgeable about the product range and was extremely helpful when arranging the delivery.
The delivery dept was excellent also, I received a call the day before delivery, and a second call about an hour before delivery.

Fantastic service, great website, great products! Ordered a Samsung 37" LCD from RGB. First, it was the cheapest I found anywhere by at least £30, and I did some serious research. Second, I picked the free delivery option, ordered on Saturday evening via the website, RGB called on bank holiday Monday to confirm delivery for Tuesday! TV arrived exactly when they said it would, and the delivery guys were great. They took the TV out of the box so I could check condition, perfect. Really cannot fault RGB. Fingers crossed the TV behaves itself. However, this 37" Samsung replaces a 32" Samsung LCD, I have had for five years without incident, so have no worries there. Will be buying my Home Cinema system from RGB as a result of this experience. |

I have recently purchased a SAMSUNG UE46B8000XWXXU which was delivered 22/3/2010, bang on time as aranged. The LED TV is briliant, set-up was just turning it on did it all itself once cables connected. RGB site, company and staffs services were and are great, wouldnt think twice about using them again or recomending them to anyone. Excellent. |

I wish to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to everyone at RGB who were instrumental in ensuring that my Panasonic Viera TV was delivered to my office before we closed for the Xmas break. Having opted for the free delivery service, I hadnt given enough allowance for the heavy Xmas delivery schedule and was worried I had made an error of judgement and instead should have paid for special delivery. Thankfully Vijay at Logistics was able to reassure me that all will be fine and, despite the atrocious weather conditions in the South East, the TV arrived today as promised. Bought my sony KDL52W5500U, excellent price, best on the web, excellent service, cant fault Nina. Bit hard to get through to Logisitcs department when trying to confirm delivery date after they called me, (unfortunately I missed their call). But RGB Customer department sorted that for me. Only grumble was the cost of delivery. 80.00 bit steep. RGB explained it was to do with the need for the special delivery requirments due to the size of the TV, however courrier only turned up with one guy, despite the TVs box & paper work indicating two persons required. If my sone had not been home, my TV wouldnt have been delivered as my wife wouldnt have been able to assist the delivery driver.
So impressed with RGB Direct that Im purchasing my mothers new TV & Blue Ray player with them. |

I could not believe the massive saving I made on purchasing a Sony Bravia TV through RGB. I had a slight problem with my order but it was quickly and efficiently dealt with by Nina the Manager. everything fine with RGB. Ordered TV on internet in evening for agreed price of £375. Something went wrong with acceptance of card. RGB sent e-mail asking me to phone to sort it. Did so. Order arrived and I was charged £419.01. Phoned to omplain and was told"Hard luck the price went up" . I explained that if I had been told this over the phone I would have gone somewhere else. Still no joy!! Eventually I was offered £20 refund but I doubt that it will turn up. I will however publicise the treatment that I received everywhere that I can and if it costs RGB just one customer then it will be worth it. PS I KNOW THIS WONT BE PUBLISHED BUT I STILL ENJOYED DOING IT!!!! |

I found rgbdirect by chance whilst comparing prices online. Thank goodness I did because the TV I wanted was over £150 cheaper than all the main high street dealers and noone could match it! Because they were unknown to me it was reassuring to be told by someone who worked for a well known electrical retailer that they knew of rgb and were honest enough to admit they couldnt compete on price and they were very reputable.
After placing my order I was kept constantly informed of progress via email, telephone and text. I was particularly impressed with the fact that they used their own delivery drivers and how helpful the gentleman was. I live on the 8th floor in a block of apartments and due to past experience, I never expected him to offer bringing it right up to my flat. Not only did he do this willingly, he also surprised me by asking if I would like it installed and set up! Usually most companies charge extra for this. He also ensured we took the TV out of the packaging to check it was undamaged before getting me to sign my acceptance of the goods.
I cannot recommend rgbdirect highly enough. I have made sure all my friends know where I bought from so they can check out the website when they next upgrade their AV equipment. I must admit I got such a good deal I wish Id treated myself and gone for something bigger! Oh well, next time!

Everything was perfect from RGB I had searched for over a month for my Samsung LED, looking for the best price. RGB was one of the best prices (but not the very lowest) but after phoning them and speaking to Nina in customer services I was convinced this was the place to shop. Nina was not pushy and let me go away to make my mind up, and when I came back she sorted the payment with professionalism. I have to also mention Vijay in the logistic department who arranged for me to have the TV delivered the next day (Saturday) Excellent! I would, and will, recommend RGB to anyone who is looking for a great price and great service throughout. |

first time I have used this company so judgement is reserved at this time. I cannot fault the service from RGB Direct, the web site is excellent, I made one phone call to ask a question prior to ordering which was answered promptly and courteously and the goods were delivered inside two days. On top of this the tv I purchased was the cheapest I could find. Altogether a good experience & I would definately use them again. |

I rang and ordered a Sony Bravia Tv and a Sony DVD Recorder and I was told they MIGHT be delivered the next day - well, they were! Excellent service, thank you, I hope to be back. PS Another reason I ordered from RGB was that an idiot in another company told me that it was illegal to make DVD players "region free"- not only is that NOT true, but RGD sell their Sony DVD players region free as a welcome extra service.
